Whether you're hoping to encounter whales or interested in seeing totem poles, Captain Jack is keen to give you the best day on the water. What To Expect
The broken coastlines surrounding Ketchikan are rich with scenery, history, and abundant wildlife.
Humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, harbor seals, and sea lions make frequent appearances. Bald eagles, kingfishers, cormorants, and countless migratory birds rule the skies. Totem poles, lighthouses, and remote cabins dot these islands. Bears, deer, mink, and other land animals occasionally appear on the shoreline. And Captain Jack is ready to share as much (or as little!) information as you would like about this place, its wildlife, its people, and its histories.
Our custom landing craft has a large front deck where you can take in the views, but if the weather isn't favorable, you are welcome to watch through the large windows in our enclosed cabin.
Accessibility concerns? This boat is fully accessible, and users of mobility devices like wheelchairs are welcome. Captain Jack is also certified as an autism specialist through IBCCES, and our company has been certified as Autism Double-Checked. We are happy to have you on board!
