Misty Fjords Floatplane Flightseeing Tour
Overview
Take to the skies on a breathtaking floatplane journey through Misty Fjords National Monument, one of Alaska’s most iconic wilderness areas covering over 2 million acres. Your adventure begins right on the water of the Tongass Narrows as you lift off and slowly ascend over the Tongass National Forest — a vast landscape of lakes, valleys, and untouched rainforest. From there, you'll see 3,000‑foot granite walls, glacially carved fjords, cascading waterfalls, and the deep blue waters of Rudyerd Bay. Keep an eye out for wildlife like mountain goats, bears, otters, eagles, and other wildlife of Southeast Alaska.
