Our guide, Bob, as a long time resident and spouse of an Alaskan native, had a wealth of knowledge and experience to share about not just Sitka, but the state of Alaska and it's history in general. He seemed more concerned that we had a rewarding tour, rather that just finishing the tour "on time" and took whatever time it took to answer our questions or just let us sit and "soak it all in".

Olga is absolutely amazing. The hike was absolutely stunning and definitely a recommended way to see this beautiful and unique area. She has a wealth of knowledge about the local environment, and area. The hike was tailored to our group, so the choice of what we wanted to see and the difficulty were tailored directly to our group. She is extremely prepared with snacks, extra rain protection, water, and the hiking poles were a tremendous help.

I was able to see a part of Sitka I would have never seen! It was a nice hike with spectacular views. My guide, Dave, was knowledgeable about the area and how it I stay safe. They also provided super yummy snacks and water.

The hike was very good! Maggie was a great hiking guide, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Sitka and Alaska! The scenery was beautiful and the hike was well chosen for the abilities of the group. The hiking group was small (6 people) and the trail had very few other people so it was a great experience out in the wilderness of Sitka

Fun Tour with Creepy Lore!
The Haunted Pub Crawl was such a fun way to spend time in Sitka! Emily was a wonderful guide and the local lore she was able to share was both spooky and informative. She clearly cares about sharing a unique side of Sitka with those of us passing through for a few hours. My wife and I had plenty of time while our ship was docked to walk from the shuttle drop off to the totem trail, back into town for some lunch, and meet up for the tour.

Excellent tour! Not only did we get ghost stories (and a little tidbit about "The Proposal"), we saw areas of the city that many others missed. Found a great second-hand shop on the tour guide's recommendation where I found discounted Sitka shirts. We checked out graveyards and other historical sites, highly recommend this tour for a more "off the beaten path" experience.*If you bought this tour through Holland America be aware they were having scheduling issues: the ship's app said the tour started an hour before it actually does. If you get there early and the guide isn't there, please wait. You won't regret it.
