We had a group of 19 people on this tour which included 3 SUV's on a partly cloudy night. Our guide was so determined to find something for us to see. I believe it was our 3rd stop that we were able to see the green with our cameras. We were completely satisfied with our experience.

This was a very long and exhausting drive to see the Aurora lights! It was worth it once we got to see them. Our tour picked us up at 9 PM and dropped us back at our hotel at 4:30 AM. We got to see the lights at 1 AM. Just be prepared for the long bumpy ride and the late night drop off.

We had a great experience with Yas. He was punctual. He shared great stories about the aurora. He was very knowledgeable about the subject. And based on the dynamic data he was using, he can predict when the aurora would be prominent in the sky.It was rainy and cloudy on the day of activity. We drove 2.5 hours for sky clearance. We really didn’t see much , meaning without the iPhone camera, you couldn’t see the aurora.He offered to take us out again the next night. We accepted and had great views of the aurora.

He was patient and taught skills to those on board that have never fished and us beginners who got our lines snagged. We stayed out a bit longer than planned to accommodate group requests. Sam was our guide he was absolutely the best! Lots of great stories and information from the time he picked us at our hotel, till the he dropped us back off at the hotel. He stayed with us the whole time we were at Chena Hot Springs Resot and Aurora Ice Museum. We even got to see moose traveling to and from Chena. Lots of interesting things to see and do there! We visited the Ice Museum, the Geo Thermal Power and the Geo Thermal Green House tours and they wer all fun and informative. We had great guides for each. They also had side by side atv and a electic atv tours as well. Swimming in the natural hot spring water was was amazing. This was a great fun and relaxing way to start off our Holland America land and cruise tour after our long flight here. We would definitely do this tour again but change it up a little. We would tey it as a night tour or a winter tour as well.

I booked this tour in early April, and it was an amazing experience! I felt so lucky and blessed to see the Aurora Borealis at multiple spots. The guide, David, was very experienced with 18 years of living in Alaska. He shared his chasing process with apps and took us to the best spots in Fairbanks. No lights were there, where it was perfect conditions to see the Aurora and take our own photographs with the beautiful Aurora backdrop! I could have even seen the shooting star and made a wish. We saw the dancing Aurora, and it was indescribable. My Alaska trip was all in for this Aurora, and I could have been more than happy that I could ever be while I was watching the picturesque lights over the sky. If you are a Harry Potter fan, the sky looked like the front cover of its 6th book: Half-Blood Prince. So mysterious and intriguing. I feel grateful for David and the agent who fielded questions before booking the trip and which date/time would be the best given our trip itinerary. I would recommend wearing ski clothes and gloves and bringing hot packs as it's late night in Alaska.

Daniel communicated well and arrived on time. We were greeted to a warm and cozy RV that made traveling a breeze. Once we arrived at the Aurora Viewing Sphere, Daniel started the heaters in the sphere, while we stayed warm in the RV. It was only a total of 4 of us on the tour, so we had free run of the sphere. There were plenty of snacks to nibble on and drinks. My son and I spent a lot of time outside playing in the snow and exploring around the sphere. Right about midnight Daniel alerted us to the aurora activity. It was such a beautiful site. We could see the colors with our naked eye, but through our cell phone lens (change the settings to "pro" and slow the speed of the lens) we could see the lights dance. For the next couple of hours Daniel would come and alert us when the light show would start up again. There was a bathroom in the rv for us to use, plus a port-a-potty near the parking lot. We had more aurora chases scheduled for the next 2 nights with a different company, but they ended up getting canceled due to cloud cover. Thanks to Daniel taking us out on our first night, we left our vacation very satisfied with our aurora encounter. It was a magical night and everything I hoped it would be.

We had an amazing experience. We will give it a 10/10. Our tour guide , Tanner Klaus, was funny and entertaining. He was also very patient . The trip to the Arctic Circle was quite an experience.It was our first time to travel that long, on a rough and dirt road but we had so much fun because of Tanner. Every bumps on the Dalton Highway was like a roller coaster ride LOL. He was very patient and we can tell that he really likes what he does.He also has a very good eye for the Aurora. We had 2 great sightings of it and what a way for us to cap the night. The trip was all worth it and we will recommend it to our friends. A trip of a Lifetime
Danielle was our guide and without him we would never have got to see the best aurora of our life time. Driving through the Dalton highway, amidst all the chaotic road bumps around midnight, Danielle kept an eye out for the aurora and every time there were lights we stopped. The final dance of the northern lights happened around 1:30 am and what a dance it was. Thanks to him and 1st Alaska tours for this wonderful memory.
