This was a very long and exhausting drive to see the Aurora lights! It was worth it once we got to see them. Our tour picked us up at 9 PM and dropped us back at our hotel at 4:30 AM. We got to see the lights at 1 AM. Just be prepared for the long bumpy ride and the late night drop off.

We had a great experience with Yas. He was punctual. He shared great stories about the aurora. He was very knowledgeable about the subject. And based on the dynamic data he was using, he can predict when the aurora would be prominent in the sky.It was rainy and cloudy on the day of activity. We drove 2.5 hours for sky clearance. We really didn’t see much , meaning without the iPhone camera, you couldn’t see the aurora.He offered to take us out again the next night. We accepted and had great views of the aurora.

An unforgettable Arctic circle tour with Ron in Fairbanks!
A wonderful experience with Ron to Arctic circle from Fairbanks! Ron was an excellent tour guide and driver to take a small group of us to Arctic circle in his van on Arpil 4th. He takes only 6 passengers at a time and the smal group tour gives you a very personal experience as opposed to 14-15 people tour. We had enough space to put our bags and move around in the van which was a very positive experience for a long 14 hour trip. Ron gave us plenty of time to see the attractions and take pictures on our way to Arctic circle through Dalton highway. He stopped our van to watch the northern lights when they appeared on the sky on our way back from Arctic circle. He helped us to take pictures and allowed us to spend enough time to enjoy the natural wonder! He carries a satellite phone during the trip to manage emergencies and being a very safe driver, he coordinates with the oil tankers and truck transporters on Dalton Highway to make a safe passage. Overall our experience was excellent during this trip and will definitely recommend Ron for Arctic circle tour.

He drove our group nearly 3 hours outside of Fairbanks to see clearer skies and a glimpse of the aurora and starry skies. We had an amazing experience. We will give it a 10/10. Our tour guide , Tanner Klaus, was funny and entertaining. He was also very patient . The trip to the Arctic Circle was quite an experience.It was our first time to travel that long, on a rough and dirt road but we had so much fun because of Tanner. Every bumps on the Dalton Highway was like a roller coaster ride LOL. He was very patient and we can tell that he really likes what he does.He also has a very good eye for the Aurora. We had 2 great sightings of it and what a way for us to cap the night. The trip was all worth it and we will recommend it to our friends. Of course the tour company and guides have no real control over the Aurora, but they certainly do what they can to ensure the best possible experience for us! We went on two consecutive nights and I have to think they were two of the best nights of the season. Mike and Ben were constantly checking apps that provided the latest information on conditions and they were able to educate us on what has to happen in order for the northern lights to appear. We were with them for hours, either outside watching (and you knew when to go outside because the excited yells would start), or inside the heated yurt (a necessity!). Their passion for this activity was very apparent and it rubbed off on all of us! They were very personable and available to answer questions the whole night. They took lots of pictures of the Aurora and of us to share with us which added to the experience. I can't recommend this tour enough ... as long as the conditions are favorable and I believe they have other tours for when they aren't.
