What an amazing experience! We caught our limit and had lots of laughs. Trevor knew exactly where to take us and guide us so we had the best experience possible.

We had a wonderful fishing experience with Matt. We found him patient, kind and skillful. We had much fun catching sockeye salmon, rainbow and Dolly Varden trout. Had a great day full of memories!

I cant begin to speak highly enough of JJ. I was lucky enough to fish with him along with my 8 year old son and wife (she did not fish). The Boat was badass and huge by Montana standards and he handled like the pro he is. JJ knew where the fish were and put them on us fast. BEST part is how he helped my son catch a ton of huge fish. He let my son cast, drift, hook and land them and helped him be a better fisherman while I fished and mostly watched my son kill it:). He even engaged my wife in friendly conversation and made her feel welcome and included. We all want to go back tomorrow to see our new friend in Cooper Landing. Hes a great dude and I learned from him about many things beyond just fishing. I only hesitate to review him because it could make it harder for me to fish with him. My son says: Amazing guide, he helped me catch some of the biggest fish in my life, which is is not saying much - I'm only eight. he an amazing teacher! Thank you JJ!

We booked with Mike Adams for 3 days salmon fishing at Cooper Landing and he also made our living arrangements for our visit. Mike was flexible with our time spent on the river. He put us is very active fishing areas at each stop. We've never fished with a fly rod and Mike was great in teaching us how to use a fly rod and be able to land the salmon. Mike cleaned and vacuum sealed the fish we chose to keep and take home with us. The cabin we stayed at was exactly what we wanted to it sat right on the Kenai River. The views were amazing. We will plan another trip to Alaska and book with Alaska Angling Adventures again. Thanks Mile!

We had an outstanding trip with Matt. We caught Sockeye, Rainbows and Dolly Varden. My father in law, Dennis, and I landed more than 14 fish each and had a few get away but not without a fun fight. Matt was especially accommodating to Dennis’ limited mobility. Even when the other 3 of us fishing did some wading and fishing from the bank, Matt positioned and anchored up so that Dennis wasn’t left out of the action. This outfit has great equipment and knowledge of the Kenai. I’m already Jonesing to go again and hopefully I can go with this guide again.

Mike is an amazing guide and teacher! I’ve had three guided salmon fishing trips in my time in AK and he’s simply the best. He knows where the fish are takes his job very seriously. Incredible time with my sons and brother in law — Highly recommend and plan on using him again next year!

This is my 4th year with Mike Adams, and again he did a great job adjusting our fishing days due to small runs and selected a different river to put us in the best position to catch fish. Great job helping the Ladies out. Looking foward to next year.

This EXCELLENT review started long before the trip began. Mike’s communication was amazing. Questions were answered quickly via email and phone calls. Our guide Phil was AWESOME! “Chill Phil” knows that river! He knew where the fish were laying and put us right over them. Within a minute of our very first drift, my wife caught a beautiful Rainbow Trout. We all caught fish, while learning different techniques, sightseeing and having fun. “Chill Phil” had an eye on everyone’s line, while making suggestions, navigating the beautiful river and pointing out wildlife. Talk about multitasking! Such a fun trip. We highly recommend Alaskan Angling Adventures and “Chill Phil” as your guide.

Mike from Alaskan Angling Adventures did not disappoint. Mike supplied us with all the gear we needed for the day including the coffee. He was very patient in showing us how to fly fish as well as other styles of fishing .A day of salmon fishing on the Kenai River. What an experience we had, my husband isn’t in to fishing one bit but thoroughly enjoyed this adventure.Mike made sure we all experienced the fight of reeling in a salmon when fly fishing.At the end of the day Mike cleaned and filleted all our fish for us and made sure we knew where to get it packed and sealed.Would definitely book another trip with Mike.

Second year fishing with KRTA. Requested Owen for our guide because we had so much fun fishing with him last year. We fished multiple techniques with fly rods and introduced our nephews to fly fishing experience. Owen was a great teacher and they had fun learning.fishing was good including a fun walk/wade trip. The trips are well organized and the boats and equipment are good. We’ll be back again. Thanks for a fun 2 days Rick Finch

My wife and I had the pleasure of fly fishing with Matt Rima for two days on the Kenai. We have done many float trips around the world and Matt was a great guide and one of the best we’ve fished with. He has excellent knowledge of the river and the area, is a skilled oarsman, and put us on fish. He listened to our preferences, has a patient and quiet approach, and gave instructions when needed. We caught numerous nice trout on dry flys and nymphs and I highly recommend Matt and Kenai River Trout Anglers !
