What To Expect
Step into the heart of Southeast Alaska. This experience begins with a scenic driving tour of Hoonah, Alaska's largest Tlingit village whose wild beauty makes this place unlike anywhere else. Learn from a local what life is like in Alaska. Hoonah is a place where towering forests, ocean, wildlife, and community are part of everyday life. It's peaceful and remote, with a slower pace and deep connection to nature.
From there, experience the serene sanctuary of the Hoonah Matata Lodge for a deeply restorative sound journey guided by certified sound and energy healer, Trees Holland using crystal singing bowls, chimes, drum and healing tones. Lay back on a comfortable chair with a blanket, the sounds and vibrations will quiet busy thoughts, release tension and create a peaceful sense of grounding and renewal.
The journey closes with a hot cup of herbal tea or cocoa outside on the deck with views of water and mountains, leaving you relaxed, refreshed, grounded and quietly transformed. A restful break from a busy cruise ship.
