The night is fully custom, when you are ready to return to Fairbanks, you say the word. We may be done at 11pm, or go until 4am.
If you want a truly custom day partaking in 3 of Alaska's greatest pastimes, This is a great option for a great day in the interior of Alaska.

What To Expect
We will leave Fairbanks around Noon - 1pm and drive to Southeast to a beautiful frozen lake, leaving plenty of time to stop for phots of the Salcha River Basin.
Once we arrive at the lake you will meet Ice Fishing Expert Guide, and his Luxury Ice Fishing Castle.
You'll get to spend 4 hours learning, fishing, and watching the fish beneath the ice via underwater cameras, all while being surrounded in comfort and warmth. Restroom included.
Your guide does things the right way, no huge groups, no over-fishing.
He will cook lunch or dinner, plus the fish you catch. He is an awesome Alaskan with so many great stories to tell while fishing. Your guide with us will remain on site and fish with you. After Ice Fishing we will remain in the area and have a campfire, roast marshmallows, and go Snowshoeing. The Snowshoeing portion is easy, casual, and a fun way to explore the forest in all its winter wonderland glory!
Once it's dark outside, or closer to aurora time, we will decide where we need to be for the best show! It may be right there on the lake! Or we may end up on a chase further south towards Delta Junction or back towards Fairbanks.

Yes. Whatever the fishing calls for: live bait, frozen bait, cut bait, or chum, our Charter Captains will have plentiful supplies on hand. The same thing goes for artificial bait such as lures, flies, or plugs.
Jul 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.

This tour requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
