Overview
Experience two classic Alaska winter activities in one unforgettable evening: ice fishing and Northern Lights viewing.
Your adventure begins with complimentary pickup from your Fairbanks hotel between 8:00–8:30 PM. Enjoy ice fishing from a heated hut, with all equipment provided. If you catch a fish, your guide will cook your catch for you to enjoy.
When the Northern Lights appear, step outside to take in the Aurora and the surrounding winter scenery. This tour offers a wonderful way to experience the Northern Lights from a different perspective while enjoying one of Alaska's favorite winter pastimes.
The tour includes an experienced guide, ice fishing equipment, heated fishing hut, hotel pickup and return, hot beverages, and your catch, cooked by your guide

What To Expect

Yes. Whatever the fishing calls for: live bait, frozen bait, cut bait, or chum, our Charter Captains will have plentiful supplies on hand. The same thing goes for artificial bait such as lures, flies, or plugs.
Jul 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
