Long boat ride, but worth it! Just when you start to wonder... you will see the glacier. We saw whales and harbor seals.

Our return to ward cove went great, left on time, had a great all women crew. Coffee was hot. Very scenic cruise, very informative. Returned I. Plenty of time to the ship and was able to shop as well. Highly recommend.

Nice all woman crew. Very informative, great boating skills. We were able to avoid the lines for free shuttle to town and it was well worth the cost of the ticket. The dock is right near all the shops, close to the fire department and then creek street. Highly recommend.

This boat ride was delightful. The beautiful scenery was well worth the cost. To be able to visit Misty Fjords at all was extraordinary. It was a very relaxing, comfortable well narrated trip. The crowd was small, mostly adults taking lots of photos. The crew was very attentive, offering to take pictures and sharing their experiences and stories. A must for photographers!

We loved this two hour cruise. We saw lots of eagles, seals, deer, salmon, and whales. It was awesome! Ketchican is a beautiful area and we were happy to learn more about it and see more of its beauty.

Going into this trip, I told Aaron I had one goal: catch two fish—a big halibut and a big yelloweye rockfish. He absolutely delivered. He picked us up at a super convenient location, and we headed out through the breathtaking scenery of Southeast Alaska. Cruising past the mountains alone was worth the trip, but the fishing was even better. We anchored at our first spot and got a few small nibbles. About 30 minutes later, my rod doubled over. We looked at each other and knew it was a good one. Sure enough, I reeled up the big halibut I'd been hoping for. After that, Aaron moved us to another spot and positioned the boat right over a school of fish he found on the fish finder. I dropped my line, and before I even had time to reel in the slack, I was hooked up again! As I brought it up from the depths, I saw that unmistakable flash of orange—it was the beautiful yelloweye rockfish I came for. Aaron truly knows how to put people on fish. He's knowledgeable, professional, and a genuine class act. If you're thinking about booking a fishing trip in Southeast Alaska, I can't recommend Aaron enough. I'll definitely be back!

Great experience on the water taxi in Ketchikan. Boat captain very knowledgeable about the area. Really e joyed the one hour + ride 😄

Leon was our guide and he was wonderful! He’s local to Ketchikan and knew exactly where to take our family. We had all ages from 11 months to 80 years old and he was able to accommodate all of us. He bought fish from a local market and took us to the beach and he threw the fish out for the bald eagles and it was so much fun to watch. He also knew the best spots for great photo ops. I’m so glad we booked a tour because we wouldn’t have been able to see Ketchikan the way we did.

During this trip, the boat tour back to ship provided beautiful views of Ketchikan that would not be seen otherwise! The staff was great and provided lots of colorful commentary about the local area. We definitely prefer the small tour experience, not to mention it saved 9 blocks of walking back to the bus station! In Alaska take a small group boat tour wherever you can!

Dom is a local resident of Ketchikan and has extensive knowledge of the area. His tour was organized and informative. He did an exceptional job of taking my family to the things we wanted to see and was respectful of the area’s residents and culture.

I also loved all the pearls of ancestral wisdom sprinkled throughout the tour such as fearing the land otter, knowing to be more cautious of bears when the skunk cabbage is out, and all the insights of new learning about the historical practices of carving, preserving and returning the Totem's to the Earth. Your patience as our group would stop and talk and share, allowing us time for visiting and then picking up where you left off before we left helped me really enjoy my short visit - the pacing felt perfect. Loved the rich stories and learning of the cultural practices such as how the ceremonial house was used and that the family walked behind the Matriach - love it! This trip has been powerfully healing to me. If I were to capture a headline for this trip, it came from Sharon. "Finding my grandmother's voice," she shared, was a concept meaning really finding that deep connection to your roots, to who you are, discovering your inner wisdom. Wow. So powerful, and to return to my childhood home, so many memories - some good, some bad, so fortunate to have spent my extremely brief visit with Sharon. Her warmth, passion for learning and teaching about her culture really shines through. Sharon has such a wealth of knowledge about the Native culture, plants, wildlife and the Ocean. Sharon is a true Alaskan gem, one of the wise leaders among the indigenous Natives of Ketchikan, taking great pride and joy in teaching the culture as a way of preserving and protecting their history and cultural practices. Along with the wisdom from her elders, she shares new insights from what they are learning now about the history and restoration of these magnificent totems. I could listen to her share all day long! Thank you so much for making this trip so special Sharon!

Kevin was amazing. We learned so much about the area and customs. The views were beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour. It was the best one we have during our stay in Alaska.

8-20-2026. Great Trip, The crew did a nice job the whole trip, from pointing out things to see, putting the boat in the right position to view everything, just being friendly and welcoming to everyone. This trip is a must see experience.

Bring your own binoculars. Food options are limited. It is a long excursion but worth it. Tour guide and Captain were knowledgeable.

Seeing the totem poles and receiving expert information on their history was very useful. The sights were beautiful and the walk through the rainforest wonderful. Ketchikan background was excellent. The tour guide was top notch in showing us the best sights and was very knowledgeable and engaging.
