We had a nice time on the tour, despite not seeing any wildlife. Tim, our driver, was a highlight with his wealth of knowledge and stories. Neat family run tour. They even provided a short video summary of the drone and video footage of our tour which was an unexpected nice addition to the tour. The SHERP truck itself provides a comfy and temperature controlled environment, for any time of year. We highly recommend this experience!

This is such a fun experience! The owners and operators are knowledgeable about the area and have respect for the environment. My husband and I each rode ‘shot gun’ in two different trucks and it was amazing! We rode thru back roads, glacier river beds, and because these trucks are amphibious into Otto Lake! Highly recommend!

I booked by Cool Alaska and Cool Alaska. The tour is perfect for a day on Denali’s area. If you are limited on your time this is perfect because you will see all important areas without any worried. They pick and drop off you to your hotel ( on the list). The driver on Denali made the stops to view any wildlife and answer any questions.

Awesome adventure. A must do if you are Denali National Park. Iditarod Champion Jeff King was not only an informative speakers but also very entertaining. The passion he has for his mush team and all of his trained dogs as well as for the race itself is so infectious you can’t help wanting to learn more about it. Fortunately he has written a book you can purchase, so after the tour you can go home and learn more about his adventures. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Being able to hold the puppies and seeing the team in action was so awesome

Early September on a beautiful day after the rain. We rafted 11 miles. Our dry suits were in good condition and I stayed warm and dry even when I jumped into a calm part of the river for a dip.Our coxswain Jay Money was very knowledgeable, we went over safety protocols, how to paddle, and he expertly instructed us when to paddle and when to lean so that we could safely go through the appropriate rapids instead around them like the other boat.

Great rafting trip with combination of 8-10 rapids (mostly class 3 and a borderline 4) broken up by calmer waters. I was worried about being cold and wet…Dry suits kept you completely dry! Hands and feet got a little cold. (I had on water proof gloves but the other 4 in the raft did not and did just fine. I also had one pair of regular socks and one pair of wool socks. My feet stayed completely dry in the dry boots and suit provided, and were just a little cold at the end). Really fun; exhilarating at times, highly recommend it. Very personable staff. They made even the donning and doffing of suits and bus ride entertaining and easy. Our guide, Jay Money, was amazing, giving us an adventurous ride while keeping us safe….and laughing

My husband asked if I wanted to go to this while he was booking our trip thru Alaska Railroad and I said sure as I always like musicals! I didn't really know what to expect but I had a really nice time. The singers/actors were phenomenal - I tried to find more information on them but I couldn't. Wish they had a play book that said who they were and what their background was. The dinner was very good - ribs meat falls off the bone. I have never really tried salmon but these were cut into small slices so I tried one and I liked it - and I am not that big of a fish fan! Dessert was as great as everyone said it would be. Happens to be blueberry season in Alaska so I'm sure the fresh berries helped! A few days later, we went to the Denali visitor center and I realized that the story we had seen was based on real people - kind of wish I had seen that first for more context. All in all, a fun night (but I wasn't called on to participate thank goodness!). The transportation from the hotel was very nice to have.

Our family of 5 had an absolute blast on the Xpedition XP 5 seater! It was the highlight of our Denali visit! Everything went so smoothly, from the online waiver, pick up at our hotel, and quick run through at the facility, we got on our way quickly. The trail system was already uploaded onto the GPS which made it super easy to navigate and the AC/heat, Bluetooth speakers, and full enclosure made it a super comfortable ride. There were several beautiful look outs along the trails and fun terrain with lots of big puddles that our kids squealed with joy as we drove through. Thank you to the wonderful staff that got us prepared and on our way to explore the stunning area!

Amazing guides, great experience, perfect for people who want to do something different than everyone else, if you wanna get off the tourist trail a little and NOT have a burn and churn experience like most other rafting outfitters. The trip is perfect for a couple of small families with adventrous kids, 2 families of 4 and a couple other family friends and you will be essentially booking a private trip with some of the most experienced guides ive met. These guides really know about the area on a level most other guides do not. Great value for the price!
