Magnificent scenery and wildlife life, an experience to remember

Fabulous experience. The captain and crew were all very friendly and capable and great to the guests. Part of the trip is on more open choppy waters and the crew were very considerate and helpful with all the seasickness. Once out of the choppy water it was smooth sailing and most people recovered and enjoyed the rest of the day. Although there was a bit more choppy water but it didn’t last as long and we were lucky because the seas had gotten more quiet. The captain was great at communicating when and for how long we would be in each situation. The captain was also excellent at finding and stopping for wildlife. The glaciers were magnificent and Aialik Glacier had several small and a very large two step calving while we were there. We were even lucky enough to see eagles, sea otters, mountain goats, seals, orca and sea lions. A truly spectacular experience that I would highly recommend, unless you get seasick easily, you might need to consider. Get a patch or at least take seasickness medicine and hope or two before sailing if you are not sure.

Just i can say - woaooo. It's just an experience that absolutely fill your bucket list. The captain is an awesome person with good knowledge about the area and gave us a penalty of opportunity to enjoy every hour during the whole trip.

Had a blast!

Had the best time on this tour, making our way through the Kenai Fjords. Our captain, Zach, shared a lot of fun facts during the tour and the whole crew was quick to point out wildlife. Saw puffins, bald eagles, sea otters and more! Highly recommend. It was incredible.

Waterproof ur shoes& bring a pancho.quick tour but so worth it.

Perfect length for teens who just want to play video games. Boat has snacks and pop. Has some educational things to look at as you go down the waterway. The lady giving the informative talk is very hard to hear in the bottom of boat. If you go to the top of boat you can hear PERFECTLY. we went early Sept where weather was low 60’s but on the boat it was in the 30’s. I brought backpack with ear coverings, hat, gloves, and coat. I waterproofed our sneakers and brought a cheap poncho and glad I did because it rained the whole time up there. I DID NOT want to go up top but my kid made me and IT WAS SOOOOO WORTH IT!! The staff was super friendly and offered to take pics for everyone which was awesome! The scenery was amazing. I must be honest that the “glacier” was just snow that came down the mountain and not really a glacier BUT it was white/blue and absolutely stunning so we didn’t care. the captain looks like a true salty fisherman and is definitely picture worthy! He stayed near the snow for about 15 minutes so we all had time to snap away. We went out and back. Super simple. Quick, but long enough. Bring a selfie stick, poncho, binoculars to see top of mountains, and charge that camera! Prior to this we stopped at the Alaska animal conservation which is only 15 minutes away. It was Nice but the food prices were INSANE so bring ur own snacks. ($10 for hotdog and $6 for a capri sun juice pouch😳)

Saw more "wild animals" here than on any other excursion. We had Tony as our driver guide. He was very entertaining and instructed us on the various ways you should act when attacked by a bear. It made it very convenient to be picked up at our hotel and dropped off at a restaurant at the end.

Quck overview of the city if you are on foot off a cruise ship

This is a quick way to get an overview of the city. We have been to Anchorage many times before, both on tours and driving a rental car. We have actually done this trip in the past but it was a nice day so we decided to do it again because we were on foot off a cruise ship. The ship canal stop at the Ulu factory was a non event for us but it was a good bathroom stop. The diver/narrator was personable and gave us lots of good infomation.
