Waterproof ur shoes& bring a pancho.quick tour but so worth it.

Perfect length for teens who just want to play video games. Boat has snacks and pop. Has some educational things to look at as you go down the waterway. The lady giving the informative talk is very hard to hear in the bottom of boat. If you go to the top of boat you can hear PERFECTLY. we went early Sept where weather was low 60’s but on the boat it was in the 30’s. I brought backpack with ear coverings, hat, gloves, and coat. I waterproofed our sneakers and brought a cheap poncho and glad I did because it rained the whole time up there. I DID NOT want to go up top but my kid made me and IT WAS SOOOOO WORTH IT!! The staff was super friendly and offered to take pics for everyone which was awesome! The scenery was amazing. I must be honest that the “glacier” was just snow that came down the mountain and not really a glacier BUT it was white/blue and absolutely stunning so we didn’t care. the captain looks like a true salty fisherman and is definitely picture worthy! He stayed near the snow for about 15 minutes so we all had time to snap away. We went out and back. Super simple. Quick, but long enough. Bring a selfie stick, poncho, binoculars to see top of mountains, and charge that camera! Prior to this we stopped at the Alaska animal conservation which is only 15 minutes away. It was Nice but the food prices were INSANE so bring ur own snacks. ($10 for hotdog and $6 for a capri sun juice pouch😳)

Unforgettable Experience

Jade (naturalist guide) and Simon (boat captain) were both truly phenomenal whale watching hosts. Our group had a beyond thrilling experience that far exceeded our expectations. Obviously they cannot guarantee what your trip will be like, but this is an absolutely solid choice that will provide you with the best opportunity possible for whale watching and other wildlife viewing near Juneau. 11/10 would absolutely choose this again.

An Unforgettable Day in the Kenai Fjords!

We took the 7.5-hour Kenai Fjords 360 cruise and it was phenomenal. We saw so much wildlife and incredible scenery throughout the day. Captain Kayleigh and the crew — Caleb, Haley, Ashley, and Emily — were exceptional: knowledgeable, warm, attentive, and full of great information. They took wonderful care of everyone, and lunch was provided too.One of the highlights of our Alaska trip. Highly recommend Major Marine Tours!

Wonderful wildlife viewing cruise

This was a full day of fun and wildlife sighting. While the company makes no guarantees, they definitely delivered the day we went. We saw almost all of the animals possible on the cruise guide they provide: humpback whale, black bear, mountain goat, seals, sea lions, puffins, and more. It helped that it was a fabulously clear day; we spent the majority of our time outside on deck. Advantages of this tour operator (I've gone with others): assigned table within the cabin, sandwich lunch is fresh and tasty, captain goes out of their way to find wildlife, point it out, and give ample time for viewing. Do not recommend for small children; they will get bored and restless. For them, select a shorter day. Wear layers; the weather changes constantly, and it's cooler out on the water. Bring your own binoculars. While some are provided by the company, if you have your own, you'll be happier.

It was a great cruise, the crew was very knowledgeable. We saw some sea lions, otters, and orcas! It was a bit cloudy and rainy so it was hard to see the scenery at times but other than that it was a great tour.
