    What To Expect

    Your adventure begins at the Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal, where the Alaska Odyssey Dome is located. Here, you’ll enjoy the Alaska Raptor Experience — an up‑close encounter with a live bald eagle and other birds of prey from the Alaska Raptor Center, paired with a captivating short film showcasing Alaska’s wildlife and scenery.

    Next, you’ll head by bus on a short 5 minute ride to Sheet’ká Salmon Tales, a forest‑by‑the‑sea gathering space where a hot, hearty Alaskan meal awaits — wild salmon, reindeer dogs, and all the fixings. As you dine, local storytellers will share personal tales of life in Sitka, where salmon, sea, and forest shape every season. Eagles often soar overhead, adding to the authentic wilderness setting. After your Salmon Tales lunch, you will be transported by bus back to the Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal.
