Private Alaska Salmon Fishing—Up to 6 Guests, Priced by Group
Overview
For starters, you'll find a consummate host in Captain Jack, whose primary goal is to give you the best experience possible. He's ready to share as much (or as little) information as you'd like to learn about Ketchikan and Southeast Alaska, all while striving to put you on the best fish to be found on any given day.
And while all parties are welcome, no other charter fishing operation in Ketchikan has been built with accessibility at the center of its mission. With a wheelchair-accessible boat, adaptive fishing gear available, certifications from IBCCES and Autism Double-Checked, plus over ten years experience working in various disabled communities, you've got a friend and ally in Captain Jack.

What To Expect
Get a taste of life in Alaska on this fully-accessible fishing charter with a Ketchikan local as your captain.
Wild Pacific salmon abound in the waters here, with all five species (king, silver, pink, chum, and sockeye) in overlapping runs, May through October.
All are welcome, and our boat was built to be wheelchair-accessible. We also have adaptive fishing gear for those who may require it: a wheelchair-mountable rod holder; grasping cuffs for those with limited wrist function; and reel grips for those with limited finger function.
Captain Jack is also a Certified Autism Specialist through IBCCES, and Fishability Alaska is also certified through Autism Double-Checked.
We often see wildlife while we are fishing—whales, orcas, porpoises, seals, sea lions, eagles, and more! Captain Jack will happily regale you with tales of Ketchikan's past, present, and future—or keep it low-key and quiet, if you just want to soak up the scenery and enjoy the peace of escaping the crowds.
We can also arrange shipping, if you'd like to keep fish and have them processed. This is done by a separate company in Ketchikan, who have their own pricing.
