What To Expect

Meet your guides at the Sunderland Ranch for your horse back riding tour. We know that you will have an incredible adventure, see the most spectacular views and learn about our ranch and Alaska. These walking trails take you around our ranch to pass across the Wolverine Creek and up into the lower foothills of the Chugach Mountains. This trail is considered intermediate and takes two hours. It will cover some wooded areas where wild animals may be viewed, as well as some beautiful open meadows with views. There are some hills and valleys and bluffs throughout the ride.
After riding, you will head 1/2 mile by car to the Alaska Zipline Adventure Park on the other half the ranch. Check in with your guides at the Welcome Center & travel in our tour rig to the course start where guides who will take you through the course's 6 tandem lines for a total of 4000 feet of zipping through the Wolverine Canyon and surrounding woods and fields. Our automatic braking system makes the course smooth and easy for any guest to zip with confidence.
